MY Story
I am Chantelle Matthee, an entrepreneur, accountant, finance & business coach, wife and mother. I have a fascination with business systems and an obsession with mastering money and finances – and helping others do the same.
Early on in my career the goal was to:
- Credentials: Have fancy letters behind my name
- Status: Be the "Chief" of something
- Money: Earn a 6-figure salary
I thought these things would make me “successful”, so that is what I did.
I completed my B.Com degree and worked at an accounting firm in South Africa for a few years before moving to New Zealand. In New Zealand I worked at one of the Big 4 Accounting Firms (PwC) in auditor, analyst, advisory and manager roles over the space of a decade before joining the commercial business world in Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer roles.
At this point I had more than achieved my initial goal. I had the fancy letters, the “chief” title, and the 6-figure salary. I enjoyed my job and met some amazing people. But I did not feel fulfilled. I wanted more.
I wanted:
- My Own Business System;
- The Freedom to control how much money I put in and get out of my systemmy own business system
- he freedom to choose how and what I spend my time on;
- to make a difference in the lives of many people;
- a sense of purpose
So I quit employment, started my own business, and set out on a journey to find freedom with purpose.
I started 'Profit on Point' to help entrepreneurs and small business owners like you “think financially”, so you can take control of your business systems, finances and cash flows — without the 6-figure CFO price tag!.
