MY Story
Hi. Welcome to Profit on Point aka POP.
I am Chantelle Matthee, an entrepreneur, accountant, finance & business coach, wife and mother. I have a fascination with business systems and an obsession with mastering money and finances – and helping others do the same.
Early on in my career the goal was to:
have fancy letters behind my name;
be the “chief” of something;
earn a 6-figure salary.

I thought these things would make me “successful”, so that is what I did.
I completed my B.Com degree and worked at an accounting firm in South Africa for a few years before moving to New Zealand. In New Zealand I worked at one of the Big 4 Accounting Firms (PwC) in auditor, analyst, advisory and manager roles over the space of a decade before joining the commercial business world in Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer roles.
At this point I had more than achieved my initial goal. I had the fancy letters, the “chief” title, and the 6-figure salary. I enjoyed my job and met some amazing people. But I did not feel fulfilled. I wanted more.
